The Accommodation
Click on images for larger pictures The Malt House was part of the old 'Hare and Hounds' village inn and now shares a cobbled courtyard with the owners' house. The ancient village pound, with lovely views over the Exe valley, forms the Malt House private garden. The accommodation, all on the ground floor, is full of character with ancient beams and a large inglenook fireplace with a woodburning stove. The kitchen is well equipped, including electric cooker, microwave and fridge. Comfortable and spacious living & dining areas with TV, CD player and hi-fi. The two bedrooms have pleasant garden views. The bathroom includes the w.c. and bath with shower above. Heating throughout the accommodation is by off-peak electricity (included in price). Off-road parking is available. Children are welcome (well-stocked games cupboard provided!), but no smokers or dogs please. |

The self-catering holiday accommodation, with beds for up to 4 people, offers the perfect base for recreational activities such as walking, cycling, fishing, sailing, hiking, riding and painting, for exploring pretty local villages such as Dulverton, Dunster, Winsford, Exford and Porlock, and for simply enjoying Exmoor's beautiful valleys, moorlands and coastline.
